Our approach

We select our investments after careful evaluation through a complex network of filters.

Investment criteria

We aim to invest in UK and European infrastructure with the following characteristics:

  • Revenues are non-discretionary and represent a critical service to the customer. As a result there is limited exposure to economic cycles.
  • Assets with defensive qualities, whether from long term contractual arrangements, geographical advantages, network effects, patented technology or high capital requirements.

Deal sourcing

We aim to source transactions pro-actively on a bilateral basis in sectors we have identified as attractive due to relatively favourable pricing or value creation opportunities.

Agility

We aim to move quickly and execute transactions before they become the focus of broader market attention.

Ticket size

Our preferred investment size of €10m to €100m gives us access to opportunities with less competition from international and institutional investors.

Active asset management and value creation

We will only invest in assets where there is an opportunity to create value through active asset management.

Team

Members of the senior team have a long standing association through Dalmore Capital. The team has been hand selected to bring together expertise in market/sector knowledge, origination, transaction execution, asset management, finance, and compliance.
